We only review and recommend books that we are genuinely interested in and “Easy Paper Projects” is no exception! If you aren’t familiar with Maggy Woodley she is the creator of Red Ted Art (https://www.redtedart.com/). Maggy has tonnes of projects made with a variety of materials and step by step tutorials on her her You Tube channel: (https://www.youtube.com/user/redtedart). In connecting with Maggy online, I have always found her to be approachable, generous in sharing her knowledge, encouraging and just plain lovely! Thus, we were excited to take a look at her book which mainly only requires one supply- paper! What I like about the text is that the projects are clearly laid out and organized into seasonal and celebration areas, so you could make these projects to coincide with the beginning of the school year, Fall, for Christmas holidays etc. These are the perfect opportunities to get kids creating, decorating their home and/ or making a handmade item to add to a gift! Once the kids looked at the book they some began tagging all the pages of projects that they would like to try first. The projects give the children the chance to develop their creativity and fine motor skills, using a material that we have at home- paper!

The next project that the kids want to do is make these pop up cards!
