Back to School: Personalize Your Ruler

Add a little bit of colour to the back of a wooden ruler  to”make it your own”!

Materials

• Wooden ruler
• Fine point permanent markers

Directions

• On the back of your ruler, create your own design, drawing or think of  a creative way to write your name.

• Be sure to avoid getting marker on the front of the marker so as to not to interfere with your ability to read the numbers necessary for calculating measurements.

• Adding a personal element to school supplies

• Be sure to be careful when using permanent markers, not to get them onto your clothes or other surfaces.
