Simple and personal! Materials Child’s artwork (Make sure it is something that they are okay with being cut up or make something for this purpose.) Paper cutter OR scissors, ruler and pencil/eraser Ribbon, cord, twine etc. Hole punch Letter stickers Directions Draw lines, using your ruler making your child’s work into triangle sections. Cut out with scissors or a paper cutter. Punch a hole in the top of your triangles. Make a loop of ribbon (as shown and then come up through the bottom of the hole and pull taut to secure. Add a letter sticker for the recipient. OR make it out of any materials that you like and attach it to a gift! Purpose Re-imagining items Finding economical ways to celebrate with paper Thinking of others Safety Notes Beads, brass fasteners etc. can be a choking hazard. Please keep them out of reach from children 0-3 years of age or those that tend to put things in their mouths. Exercise care when using scissors and/or a paper cutter. Use with adult supervision. String, cord etc. can be a strangulation hazard, thus they are not meant for play and should be used with supervision. Toothpicks can be sharp- use with care!
