Materials

  • Child’s artwork (Make sure it is something that they are okay with being cut up or make something for this purpose.)
  • Paper cutter OR scissors, ruler and pencil/eraser
  • Ribbon, cord, twine etc.
  • Hole punch
  • Letter stickers

Directions

  • Draw lines, using your ruler making your child’s work into triangle sections.  Cut out with scissors or a paper cutter.

  • Punch a hole in the top of your triangles.

  • Make a loop of ribbon (as shown and  then come up through the bottom of the hole and pull taut to secure.

  • Add a letter sticker for the recipient.

  • OR make it out of any materials that you like and attach it to a gift!

Safety Notes

  • Beads, brass fasteners etc. can be a choking hazard.  Please keep them out of reach from children 0-3 years of age or those that tend to put things in their mouths.
  • Exercise care when using scissors and/or a paper cutter.  Use with adult supervision.
  • String, cord etc. can be a strangulation hazard, thus they are not meant for play and should be used with supervision.
  • Toothpicks can be sharp- use with care!
