We have been inspired by Red Ted Art‘s various pinch pots (lovely sunflowers, fall leaves, poppies) and wanted to make one of our own.  We show you a basic snowman or snow woman model that you could then put some of your personality into it!  We are also going to give you two techniques- one for a matte finish and one for a “no-glaze, but looks glazed” look!

See this idea on Red Ted Art below:

Snow Person Pinch Pot: We show you how to use air dry clay to make this lovely seasonal clay project! We have two methods- one that creates a matte finish and the other a glazed look without the firing! #snow #wintercraft #holidaycraft #christmascraft #clayproject #clay #snowpeoplecraft #snowmancraft

I love these and had my 5th grade class make them in their clay class. Question for you…where did you find the thin pipe cleaners? All of the ones I found are so thick and don’t look as good as yours.
    Thanak you,
    Carey

My apologies for the last reply, I have been getting treatment for Cancer. We are in Canada, so I believe that we got those at Michaels Craft Store (they usually have a wide variety of thicknesses, lengths etc.) We’d love to see some photos when you give them a go!
