While changing over our summer coats to our fall coats we came across a container of bubble solution which our son wanted to use a lightsaber.  Instead of disposing of the bubble solution we decided to use it to create Halloween cards.

Materials

  • Bubble solution
  • Non-toxic black ink or paint
  • Thick paper (e.g., cardstock etc.)
  • Bubble wands
  • Plastic container
  • Safety goggles (our son wears glasses so he was protected by those!)

We always find a smock helpful too!

SmockOnly

Directions

  • Don your smock.
  • Mix your paint or ink into your bubble solution.  We went a mix of approximately 2/3 bubble solution and 1/3 black ink, stirring it with our bubble wand.

Thank you so much for sharing this fun, creative activity, and your beautiful photography, on the #made4kids linkup. My kiddos love bubble play, and we’ve never tried anything like this. We’ll have to try it!

This looks like a lot of fun! We did spin art tonight and the kids had a blast! We will need to try this next.
